HONEY & BLACKSTRAP: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE???

For skin purposes they both do the same thing, basically. So you can use either Honey or Blackstrap. They both give the skin nourishment. It serves the purpose of tightening the skin, for wrinkles and sagging jaws.

  • Wash and dry your face with a gentle cleanser. Before applying the honey, you need a fresh, clean face. Wash your face regularly every morning and before bed. Make sure the skin dries completely.

  • Test a tiny area of your face with a dab of honey. Some people have allergic reactions to honey. You do not want your entire face covered with honey only to find out you have an allergy to it. Place a small amount of honey on the jawline and let it sit for a couple of minutes. If you do not notice any sort of reaction, you can continue.
    • Warm the honey between your hands to thin it out. Allowing the honey to warm first will let it transfer to your face easier.

    • Rub the honey into the skin of the face in a thin layer.
    • Wait at least 15 minutes. This will allow the honey to work into the pores and put it’s antibacterial and anti-inflammatory powers to work. You can opt to leave the honey mask on even longer if you wish; the heat of your skin will prevent the honey from drying out.
    • Rinse off the mask with warm water. Avoid rubbing the face; instead, splash the face with water. For even better results, rinse your face during a warm shower.
